Watch the FIFA World Cup 2026 at The Red Lion, NYC

The FIFA World Cup 2026 is coming to New York this summer. MetLife Stadium hosts eight matches, including the final on July 19. For everyone watching from Manhattan, The Red Lion on Bleecker Street is where you'll want to be.

Named one of the best soccer bars in NYC for the World Cup 2026 by The Mirror, The Red Lion has been Downtown Manhattan's home for football for years — every Premier League morning, every Champions League night, and now the biggest tournament in the sport.

NYC's World Cup Headquarters

We broadcast on 10+ HD screens across the bar, open early for every fixture, and run the full kitchen all day. The atmosphere on a big match day at The Red Lion is the closest thing to a stadium you'll find on Bleecker Street — and significantly easier to get to than MetLife.

This summer we'll be showing every televised World Cup fixture from group stage through the final. Walk-ins are always welcome. For the big matches, reserve your table in advance.

"You can't go wrong with the Red Lion NYC on Bleecker Street — a quintessential sports bar with over 10 HD screens." — The Mirror, Best Soccer Bars in NYC for the FIFA World Cup 2026

What to Expect on Match Day

Doors open at 11:00 AM on match days. The full kitchen runs all day. On weekends, Bottomless Brunch kicks off at 10:00 AM unlimited mimosas, Bloody Marys, Aperol Spritz or Red Lion drafts paired with any entrée, running until 3:00 PM. On tap: Guinness, Smithwick's, Stella Artois, and our own Red Lion Amber and Light.

For food, the Red Lion Burger, Fish & Chips, and Shepherd's Pie are the match day staples. The nachos are built for a group. The fish and chips go with a cold pint.

Book Your Table

World Cup fixtures fill the bar fast. Walk-ins are always welcome, but for group stage clashes, knockout rounds, and the semi-finals and final, a reservation is the smart move. Groups of 8 or more can enquire about private match day bookings.
