Watch the FIFA World Cup 2026 at The Red Lion, NYC

Football fans watching a live match at The Red Lion soccer bar on Bleecker Street, Greenwich Village NYC

The FIFA World Cup 2026 is coming to New York this summer.

MetLife Stadium hosts eight matches, including the final on July 19. For everyone watching from Manhattan, The Red Lion on Bleecker Street is where you want to be.

Named one of the best soccer bars in NYC for the World Cup 2026 by The Mirror, The Red Lion has been Downtown Manhattan's home for football for years,  every Premier League morning, every Champions League night, and now the biggest tournament in the sport.

NYC's World Cup Headquarters

We broadcast on 10+ HD screens across the bar, open early for every fixture, and run the full kitchen all day. The atmosphere on a big match day at The Red Lion is the closest thing to a stadium you'll find in Greenwich Village and significantly easier to get to than MetLife.

This summer we'll be showing every televised World Cup fixture from group stage through the final. Walk-ins are always welcome. For the big matches, reserve your table in advance.

A FIFA Watch Party NYC That Has Actually Earned It

The Mirror named The Red Lion one of the best soccer bars in NYC for the 2026 World Cup. Fox 5 NY recommended us for 2022. The Infatuation put us on their World Cup watch list. That track record exists because this is not a pop-up and it is not a temporary activation  it is a proper British pub with regulars who know their football, argue their football, and have been sitting on these stools for years.

We are also the only dedicated Brentford FC supporters bar in New York City. The story of how the NYC Bees started here three people meeting at The Red Lion for Brentford's first ever Premier League match in 2021, growing into a community of 20 to 30 regulars travelling from across the country tells you more about this room than any list of screens and tap handles could.

The World Cup belongs to every nation. The Red Lion is ready for them all.

Exploring NYC During the World Cup? Our Sister Bars Have You Covered

The World Cup runs for weeks, and if your plans take you beyond Greenwich Village, the Red Lion's sister bars are worth knowing. The Ellington is an American lounge on the Upper West Side. Tara Mor brings authentic Irish hospitality to Midtown, steps from Penn Station — useful if you are travelling to MetLife for a match. Tara Rose is Murray Hill's favourite neighbourhood bar. All four venues, one group, Manhattan covered. But for the football, there is only one address.
